LARINA R. ROSA, OD, FAAO


Dr. Rosa is a graduate of Binghamton University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2001. She received her Doctorate of Optometry at SUNY College of Optometry in 2005 and is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. Dr. Rosa completed internships at the Newington Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital and OMNI Eye Services, specializing in ocular disease.

Post graduation, Dr. Rosa completed a residency through the SUNY College of Optometry in ocular disease, low vision and vision rehabilitation at the Northport VA Hospital. She became a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry in 2009.


NEHA P. SHETH, OD, FAAO


Dr. Sheth, graduated from Rutgers University with Honors in 2001, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. She received her Doctorate of Optometry at SUNY College of Optometry in 2005, and is certified by the National Board Examiners in Optometry.

Dr. Sheth has completed internships at the Newington Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital specializing in ocular disease, as well the Northport VA Hospital specializing in low vision, ocular disease and vision therapy. She became a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry in 2018. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, from the geriatric to the pediatric population, to those with special needs.


NADINE EISENBERG, OD


Dr. Nadine Jamal Eisenberg graduated from Trinity College with a BS in Psychology. She received her doctorate degree from SUNY College of Optometry where she graduated with honors. Dr. Eisenberg has had extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of eye muscle disorders, binocular vision disorders, eye-related learning problems, and vision therapy. She also completed an externship in Cornea & Specialty Contact Lens including the fitting and management of keratoconus, post PK fits, high astigmatism and ortho-keratology. She is very involved in myopia control including specialty contact lens fits and the use of atropine and has several publications on the subject. She is an active member of the AOA and NYSOA.


CHERYL MURPHY, OD

Dr. Cheryl G. Murphy has compassionately cared for patients on Long Island for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Albany in 2000 and her Doctorate of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in 2004. During both undergrad and optometry school, she worked as a lab research assistant studying visual development and the brain. While seeing patients, Dr. Murphy makes educating her patients a priority by taking the time to answer their questions about their vision and eye health. She has a strong interest in Dry Eye and Ocular Surface Disease as well as in the co-management of patients after cataract surgery. In 2024, she became one of the first optometrists in New York State to become certified by RxSight to deliver light adjustments and lock-ins on the Light Adjustable Lens intraocular implant.

Aside from practicing optometry, Dr. Murphy loves to write! She has been honored with the New York State Optometric Association’s Communications Award for sharing her passion for eye health and vision science with colleagues and the public through her widely published articles. She has served as a Contributing Editor for Review of Optometry and 20/20 magazine. As a freelance science writer, she has been published over 130 times in various optometric trade magazines and online for Huffington Post Science, WebMD and Scientific American magazine. She is currently a candidate for Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry.


RACHEL KIM, OD

Dr. Rachel Kim graduated from Stony Brook University with a B.S. in Biology. She went on to earn her doctorate degree at SUNY College of Optometry where she graduated as a member of the Gold Key Honor Society recognizing leadership and service to the community and profession. Dr. Kim provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages with refractive error, ocular disease, and binocular vision disorders including providing vision therapy. She is experienced in the treatment and management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, dry eye, cataract, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Kim fits soft contact lenses and specialty contact lenses including scleral lenses and ortho-k. She is also involved in myopia management utilizing atropine, multifocal contact lenses, and ortho-k. Dr. Kim is an active member of the AOA and NYSOA.


VICTORIA BARAM, OD

Dr. Victoria Baram received her Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, where she was recognized for academic excellence. She is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.

Dr. Baram completed her residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at the VA Boston Healthcare System, where she provided comprehensive eye care to veterans. She worked closely with ophthalmologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of ocular diseases including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and dry eye disease. Her training also included exposure to subspecialty clinics in retina, uveitis, cornea, oculoplastics, and specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Baram is passionate about providing thorough, empathetic care and values patient education as a central part of her clinical approach. She is committed to empowering individuals to better understand their eye health. Her clinical interests focus on ocular disease, post-surgical care, and the unique visual needs of the aging population. She has delivered continuing education lectures to fellow clinicians and presented clinical cases at national meetings, including the American Academy of Optometry.
